This will give us some common ground to start with. First, we want to improve our lives and ourselves.
We were born with the innate desire and drive to continuously grow and improve.
Second, we’ve faced adversity throughout our lives. However, if we can maintain the perspective that every adversity we face is an opportunity for us to learn, grow, and become better than we’ve ever been.
To do this, you must be willing to accept responsibility for every aspect of your life from thin point forward and refuse to give away your power by blaming anyone else.
- Insurmountable : 대처[극복]할 수없는 ex) think about any challenges you’ve ever faced that, at that time, may have seemed insurmountable or unbearable.
- Harness : (동력원 등으로) 이용[활용]하다 ex) we harness our ability to change or create anything in our lives
**“Get unstuck”**
• “I’m trying to get unstuck in my career.”
• “If you feel stuck, let’s figure out how to get unstuck together.”
• “I need to figure things out.”
• “I just need to move forward.”
• “I’m trying to get back on track.”

- Overhaul : (기계, 시스템의)점검[정비] n.v/ (경주에서 남을)앞지르다(=overtake) 근데 주로 완전히 점검한다 수정하다 개편한다의 의미로 많이 쓰이는 것같다. ex) you are ready for a complete overhaul that can radically transform your entire life
- Embark on/upon something :
- Pull out of the funk we were in
- I’ve been in a funk lately, but I’m trying to snap out of it.”
- the funk 랑 비슷한 의미로 in a rut ex) I feel like I’m stuck in a rut these days
- On cloud nine
This book builds upon three fundamental truths
This book builds upon three fundamental truths
1. You are just as wrothy, deserving, and capable of creating and sustaining extraordinary health, wealth, happiness, love and success in your life as any oher person on earth. It is imperative - not only for the quality of your life but also the impact you make on your family, friends, clients, coworkers, children, community, and anyone whose life you touch - that you start living in alignment with that truth.
2. To stop settling for less than you want - in any area of your life - and experience the levels of personal, professional, and financial success you desire, you must first dedicate time each day to becoming the person you need to be, who is capable of consistently creating those levels of success.
3. How you approach waking up each day and your morning routine is crucial because it sets the tone, context, and direction for the rest of your day. Focused, productive, successful mornings set you for focused, productive, successful days, which ultimately lead to an extraordinary life. The opposite is also true : unfocused, unproductive, and mediocre mornings pave the way for unfocused, unproductive, and mediocre days, culminating in an unfulfilled potential and a life of continuous struggle.
